This year will mark the fifth anniversary for the globally renowned celebration that benefits Harvey Milk Foundation and The Pride Center at Equality Park and recognizes those who are transforming lives by living authentically and advancing inclusiveness. This year honorees are: Meghan McCain, Army Captain Jennifer Peace and Staff Sergeant Patricia King, Congressman Ted Deutch, Phill Wilson and Antonio “Tony” Lima.

PRIDE – Palm Beach
Compass Community Center will host their 28th annual Palm Beach Pride in Lake Worth. The festival is expected to draw over twenty thousand people to town for the weekend’s ever-expanding number of events and activities, which include the annual Pride Parade through downtown Lake Worth (Sunday), a “Youth Village” that is available to families on both days, delicious international cuisines, and world-class entertainment.

MIAMI’S – Ultimate Drag Queen
Drag superstars Shangela and Miss Vanjie will headline the competition, where some of Miami’s fiercest drag performers will sashay on the runway and compete for a cash prize of $5,000 and the title of the Ultimate Miami Drag Queen. Showcasing the participants’ signature style and performance skills through three rounds of competition (Talent, Runway and Q & A). Past winners Tiffany Fantasia (2018) and Athena Dion (2017) will also perform live.

Slow Burn Theatre Co presents this iconic story where Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical, lying boss Mr. Hart. Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy giving their workplace a dream makeover and taking control of the company that had always kept them down.

COMEDIAN – Rita Rudner
After appearing in several Broadway musicals, including “Follies” and “Mack and Mabel”, Rita Rudner began exploring the comedy clubs of Manhattan. She has now performed all over the country, filling Carnegie Hall in NY three times and the Universal Amphitheatre in L.A. twice. She’s also performed sell-out tours internationally in Australia and England. Rita is now officially the longest-running solo comedy show in the history of Las Vegas.

MOVIES – Dumbo
We all remember this classic from when we were kids and now it’s back. A young elephant, whose oversized ears enable him to fly, helps save a struggling circus, but when the circus plans a new venture, Dumbo and his friends discover dark secrets beneath its shiny veneer. This family/fantasy film which is 112 minutes in length stars Lucy DeVito, Eva Green, Colin Farrell, and Danny DeVito.

PRIDE – Tampa
Although they are not in South Florida they are our neighboring sister city and only a 4 hour drive away. Their Pride is a full day starting with a festival, and the parade in the middle of the day. This is followed at night time with all the clubs, bars, and restaurants having big parties. While there, don’t forget to check our Cristoph’s and Southern Nights Tampa.
