Friday, August 3

The Grand Opening of Dudes Barber (2039 Wilton Drive) takes place today at 5pm and features MC Nikki Adams along with some of the hottest 80’s recording artist including: Company B, Lime and Giggles who will all be there mingling, singing and signing autographs.
Georgie’s Alibi/Monkey Bar presents World Circuit DJ J Warren in the main room from 9pm to 3am. As always, there is no cover at Alibi.
The Ramrod presents Pig Dance #120 (first Saturday of every month) from 10pm to 3am with this month’s guest DJ Daniel Kristopherre.
The Club Fort Lauderdale features their bi-monthly (1st and 3rd Saturday of the month) Res-Erection Naked Blackout event at 10p.m. This is always a sold-out event, so get there early!
The Manor presents a Birthday Bash for Circuit DJ Joe Gauthreaux in the Ballroom. The Pub presents “BrutBears” Bear Necessi-T Dance from 4 to 10pm with DJ Guy Degiacinto, and sexy Go-Go bear Dancers.
My Girl and multi Grammy Winner, Janet Jackson (ok, ok, I have never met her, but can only dream), will be coming to the American Airlines Arena with her “State of the World Tour” at 8pm. Pentatonix The Texas-based quintet broke through as the winners of the third season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off” Comes to the Coral Sky Amphitheatre at 8pm. They were, by far, the most successful group to come out of that series and have remained a universal success. They are joined by pop-rock trio Echosmith, known for such hits as “Cool Kids” and “Bright.” Opening is British singer/songwriter Calum Scott. Lips, the ultimate in drag dining, will present a special night of drag performances with their new show “Twisted Broadway” on at 7 pm as a fundraiser for Stonewall National Museum & Archives, featuring local celebrity guest servers.
