The Pro Shop Pub is set to make LGBTQ history when the business celebrates its 41st anniversary (located at the same downtown Clearwater Cleveland Street location since 1976). The Pro Shop Pub is the longest continuously-owned LGBT establishment in the state of Florida. It is open daily from noon until 3 a.m. The big anniversary celebration takes place from 9 p.m. till 3 a.m. and is hosted by emcee Bob Moore. Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The King and I” plays at the Carol Morsani Hall at the Straz Center from today through May 7. The 8th Annual Harvey Milk Festival (HMF) will take place starting today through May 13, concluding an 11-band concert at Five Points Park in historic downtown Sarasota.
