CONCERT – DRAKE

Brings his Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour to south Florida for two performances. Drake has the most number one singles on the Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Charts. He has also won three Juno Awards, six American Music Awards, and fifteen Billboard Music Awards. He is the RIAA’s top certified digital singles artist and one of the world’s best-selling music artists, with more than 10 million albums and 86 million singles sold globally. This is the concert scheduled for Sept 21 and 22, and tickets for the 21 are honored on the 13th and the 22 on the 14.

THEATER Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Slow Burn Theatre Co presents their next show which is the genre-bending, fourth-wall-smashing musical sensation, with a pulsing score and electrifying performances, tells the hilarious, harrowing, and essentially uplifting story for anyone who’s ever felt different. Hanschel, a “slip of a girly-boy” from communist East Berlin, becomes the “internationally ignored song stylist” known as Hedwig after a botched sex change operation.

DANCE – SYTYCD Live Tour! 2018

Following the continued success of the hit summer competition series and 15 Emmy wins, So You Think You Can Dance is packing up the show’s Top 10 Finalists Jay Jay Dixonbey, Chelsea Hough, Evan DeBenedetto, Genessy Castillo, Cole Mills, Darius Hickman, Magdalena Fialek, Slavik Pustovoytov and Jensen Arnold, and winner Hannahlei Cabanilla, America’s Favorite Dancer plus All-Star guests Lauren and Cyrus.

BAND – South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble

They present Angels and Demons and will perform selections inspired by all that is good and all that is evil in the world. Guest vocalists, dancers, video productions, The South Florida Pride Jazz Ensemble and Pride Steel Band will also be featured on this concert.

COMPOSER Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway

Neil recreates the greatest moments from the finest shows of the century featuring the stars from “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Les Misérables,” “CATS,” “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Jekyll & Hyde.” Neil Berg presents brilliantly revived arrangements of Broadway classics as well as thrilling numbers from the newest hit productions.

PERFORMANCE Penny Arcade

The avant-garde performance artist, writer, poet and experimental theater artist is known for her magnetic stage presence, take-no-prisoners wit and content-rich plays and one-liners. The international artistic icon’s “Longing Lasts Longer” is a rock ‘n’ roll blend of stand-up comedy and memoir.

MUSIC FESTIVAL – RockFest 80’s

This third Annual event features: Vince Neil, Ace Frehley, Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, Night Ranger, Sebastian Bach, KIX, Winger, Mr Big’s Eric Martin, Trixter, Firehouse, Steelheart, Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, Nelson, Zebra and Kickin Valentina. In addition, Rockfest always brings the best local bands and gives them the opportunity to showcase their talent.

COMEDIAN Joel McHale

After a successful 2 performances in Palm Beach last weekend, Joel comes to Fort Lauderdale, He is best known for his starring role in NBC’s hit series Community,” the comedic actor and stand-up is now appearing in Netflix’s “The Joel McHale Show.”

VETERANS DAY

This is the day that honors military veterans; that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. There are so many events around south Florida honoring our veterans. Let’s participate in at least one to show our veterans how much we appreciate their sacrifice!
