TOGETHERNESS – World AIDS Day

Takes place on the 1st December each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day.

YOUTUBER – Randy Rainbow

He is a comedian, actor, writer, host and Internet sensation best known for his viral comedy videos. His popular series of political spoofs and song parodies have garnered international acclaim and over a hundred million views. He is the creator and star of the long-running BroadwayWorld.com web series Chewing the Scenery with Randy Rainbow and Last Minute with Randy Rainbow.

COMMANDER – President Bill Clinton

COMEDIAN – David Spade

The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member has enjoyed success on both the big and small screens. On television, Spade starred in the long-running sitcoms “Just Shoot Me” and “Rules of Engagement.” His films include two each of the “Joe Dirt,” “Grown Ups” and “Hotel Transylvania” series.

TELEVISION – The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

The freshman series won Emmy’s for Outstanding Comedy, Lead Actress, Supporting Actrss, writing and directing. Season 2 sees Midge trying to have it all – a comedy career, a job and a working marriage, or at least a partnership – but as she gets better at comedy the harder it is for her to keep the rest of her life together.

SINGER – Willy Chirino

The popular Cuban, known for such albums as “Sigo Pa’ Lante,” appears with his big band and special guests in this celebration of Christmas. He has recorded over 20 albums, several of which have attained platinum and gold status. In 2006, his album “Son del Alma”, won a Grammy for Best Salsa/Merengue Album.

MENORAH – 39th Annual Chanukah Festival

This is the World’s Largest Annual Chanukah Festival, taking place on the 2nd night of Chanukah and this year features, the King of Jewish Music, Avraham Fried, Live In Concert, and the most popular Jewish musical team, 8th Day. Rabbi Raphael Tennenhaus, Chabad’s Executive Vice President, reminds everyone that: Admission to the Festival, as always, is FREE!

SYMPHONY OF THE AMERICAS: Holiday Music & Movies

SINGER – Fonseca

The Colombian singer, songwriter, record producer and activist is touring in support of his recent “Simples Corazones” release. Influenced heavily by Carlos Vives, his style is a blend of vallenato and cumbia, two traditional and popular forms of Colombian music. His achievements include six Latin Grammy Awards and one Billboard Latin Music Awards. Also appearing is Bacilos.
